Canberra’s biggest feast is almost here

Posted on

Get your stretchy pants out, because Canberra’s biggest NightFeast is almost here.

This year, Floriade’s NightFest has been transformed into Canberra’s Biggest NightFeast; a shared celebration of Canberra’s food scene for one night only on Friday 2 October.

With over 30 venues participating, there will be a tantalising line-up of bespoke, spring-inspired meals and deals.

There are two ways to take part: in person at a delicious variety of venues around town or gather a group together and bring the event to life in your own home. Whichever option you choose, we present the mouth-watering highlights (stretchy pants necessary).

About town

Indulge in a very Floriade high tea

Celebrate Floriade: Reimagined with a plant-based high tea at Kingston’s Beef & Barley. On the menu is a selection of tantalising plant-based and dairy appetisers, sliders and a delightful range of sweet treats to finish.

The high tea also includes a beer or bubbly on arrival to wash it all down.

Friday 2 October | Sittings available at 5 pm, 6.45 pm and 8.30 pm | $49 per person (minimum two people) | Bookings essential, visit

Explore the dark side

Monster Kitchen and Bar’s Bloom and Doom is a four-course dinner that embraces the darker side of NightFeast.

With a progressive menu that gets darker with every dish, you’ll be teased along the way with a first taste from Monster’s upcoming menu, exclusively for NightFest.

Friday 2 October | Two sittings at 6 pm and 8 pm | Tickets from $99 | Bookings essential, visit

Make plans

Baby Su will be serving up a special NightFest inspired soft serve for $1 with each meal on Friday 2 October.

But wait, there’s more! Join in the territory-wide feast by booking a table on Friday 2 October at a participating restaurant.

There’s plenty on offer, from Baby Su’s special NightFest soft serve flavour to BentSpoke’s Oktoberfest-themed weekend. And it doesn’t just taste good, it feels good too—by supporting one local eatery, you are supporting many including local producers, their suppliers and regional growers.
