Grease Monkey opens in Braddon
Posted on
After a long and anticipated wait, Grease Monkey has finally rolled up its doors this morning to serve up burgers you’re guaranteed to go apesh*t over.
With strictly burgers, fried chicken and a rather impressive selection of old-school dessert including ice-cream sandwiches, you’ll find no kale chips, organic smoothies or superfoods on this Greasy menu.
But while you may think the recipe for a burger is as easy as they come, owner Socrates Kochinos will tell you the recipes for his burgers have been months in development.
If it’s a milkshake you crave, then a milkshake you shall be served with combinations such as the malted maple and bacon to be a sure thing for those who frequent this New York-style establishment.
There’s nothing high rise about Grease Monkey either as it pays homage to Braddon’s history having taken over from an old 1950s mechanics’ shop front – a contrast to the new, modernism designs that frequent the bustling city fringe.
But don’t take our word for it – pop in for a bite to eat from 10am today and be sure to stop by for a breakfast burger served from 7am Monday to Friday.
