Have Reddit sleuths uncovered the location of Capital Brewing’s new Lager House?

We know that everyone has been waiting with bated breath for the announcement of where Capital Brewing Co.’s warm neighbourhood pub is set to open. Well, we finally know.
At least, we think we know.
While we’re still waiting for an official announcement, one hard-working Canberra local has done the work for us (thank you @r/ctn1ss) and hunted down where they’ll be pouring fresh, seasonal lagers very soon: Campbell.
“Based on their most recent Instagram post, I was able to track down the (still unannounced) location of Capital Brewing’s new Lager House pub and restaurant,” they wrote.
“It’s located in the new Anzac Park East development on the corner of Constitution Ave and Anzac Parade in Campbell.”

Yep, it looks like the historic, leafy inner-north suburb is getting a new pub. But while we wait for official confirmation, here’s a little review of what you can expect.
Set to open in February, Lager House has been described as a “familiar neighbourhood pub that feels elevated yet easy going”, and will balance the traditional easy-going nature of a pub with elevated extras.
Think: warm interiors using recycled timber from Thor’s Hammer by Capezio and Copeland, an open U-shaped bar inspired by classic Sydney and Melbourne pubs and a spacious terrace.
There will be three 1500-litre tanks pouring fresh seasonal lagers directly from the source, and if that’s not enough, the drinking experience will be enhanced thanks to LUKR from the Czech Republic, who has been commissioned to hand-make traditional side pour taps.
And for the foodies? The region’s most respected chef, Paul Starley, is taking the helm as Executive Chef.
