We have three reasons to hop into Midnight Bar this April

Because who can say no to an Easter-themed cocktail? Shaking up three limited edition drinks, Midnight Bar is now home to the Hazel Hop (imagine an alcoholic Tim Tam Slam), the Whitechoco-Tinin (white light vodka, crème de cocoa, ice cream, citric sugar, macadamia nuts, and cream) and the Easter Lily (a sweet, sherbert-y delight with a zesty lemon twist). They’re the things sweet dreams – and drinks – are made of.

You’ll have to visit Banhmi Shack to find out. Serving authentic Vietnamese flavours with a modern twist, the new addition to Challis Street is tickling tastebuds with bánh mì’s, handcrafted rice paper rolls, Vietnamese iced coffee, refreshing fruit shakes, and more!

A must-try on the menu? The Crackling Pork Bánh Mì – crispy, golden pork crackling layered over succulent roasted pork, served in a fresh baguette, generously filled with rich pâté, creamy mayonnaise, fresh pickled carrots, crisp cucumber, red onion, and their signature secret Special Shack Sauce. Anyone else drooling?

Forget scones, this high tea has lobster sliders

This Easter Saturday Hotel Kurrajong is serving high tea with a twist – it’s seafood themed.

Inviting people to book their families in for a decadent meal, the menu is a little different from your standard high tea offering. Instead of cucumbers, you’ll find finger sandwiches stuffed with blue swimmer crab meat, while pulled butter-poached lobster sliders, tempura prawns, and oysters Rockefeller replace savoury tarts.

As for the sweets? From chocolate-dipped strawberries to Belgian chocolate mousse tart, they also have an assortment of irresistible treats. Add in a continuous flow of refreshing mimosas, premium teas and freshly brewed coffee and an Easter egg hunt in the courtyard and it’s the perfect mix of elegance and coastal indulgence.
