Didn’t get quite enough chocolately goodness from yesterday’s Easter article? Well, set your alarms for 9am Monday for Messina’s Easter Snack Pack.
Ah, Easter. That glorious time of year when everything hot crossed and chocolatey is in abundant supply. And when Messina release their limited edition Easter Snack Pack.
What’s in store for 2022?
A bake-at-home Hot Cross Bun Sticky Snail and 1L Triple Choc Gelato Hot Tub—spiced sticky dough laced with choc chips and vanilla custard, topped with a cinnamon malt caramel.
Before eating the snail, you’ll have to bake it at home… before topping with a scoop of your Triple Choc Hot Tub.
Oh. My. Stars.
Each layer is made exclusively with Messina house-made chocolate, using Ecuadorian cocoa. Layers of milk chocolate gelato and toasted white chocolate mousse are topped with an Ecuadorian dark chocolate crack.
If eggs are more your Easter jam, the Messina chocolatiers have handcrafted a smashable 420g milk chocolate giant Easter Egg, filled with an assortment of treasures: white & milk chocolate chickens, white chocolate and passionfruit gel fried eggs, caramelised white chocolate and waffle cone mini eggs, and milk chocolate hot cross bun bites.
