This is one to put in your diary for when the current spring hurricane dies down: the Boat House’s outdoor bar, Armada Bar, is back.
Well, kind of.
In the ultimate mash-up event that our summer weather fantasies are made of, The Boat House has just announced a party that promises an unforgettable evening by the water, complete with cocktails, canapes and live music.
On Saturday 19 October, the exclusive Lakeside Saturday Sesh will be transforming The Boat House into an indoor/outdoor cocktail haven, complete with breathtaking views of Lake Burley Griffin.
Bringing the spirit of Armada Bar back with a bang, Director at The Boat House James Souter says that the party is “all about celebrating the best of spring in Canberra – with great food, drinks, and unbeatable vibes.”
Excited yet? Because we’re talking bottomless Collector bubbles and rosé, refreshing Capital Brewing Coast Ale on tap, and a selection of Phoenix Spirits vodka and gin spring cocktails.
“It’s not just about the drinks – it’s about the entire experience,” says James.
“From sunset ferry rides aboard Love Boat’s 103-year-old MV Reliance to live DJ sets and mouth-watering food, we’ve curated an evening that’s all about relaxation and enjoyment.”
Setting the perfect mood for a night of lakeside revelry, Brother J will be spinning chill tunes as the sun sets, before gradually transitioning into more upbeat tracks as the evening progresses.
As for the food? The Boat House kitchen will be serving up a delectable array of canapés, featuring a charcoal station and a live-cooked paella pan – ensuring that dinner is taken care of. And with all of this set against the picturesque lakeside backdrop, it’s the perfect way to send off a cold and windy winter.
With everything included on your ticket (including the ferry rides) – which are priced at $155 per person – grab your mates and get booking.
