Meet some of ARF’s long term residents looking for their furever home

Before we start this article, please know that we do understand that all pets need to find homes that suit them and that not all pets will click with all homes.
Some fur babies need less people in their homes, some need more. Some need specific medical care, some need rigorous training.
However, the thought that HerCanberra could be the way someone finds their next family member warms our hearts, so we wanted to help spread the word about ACT Foster and Rescue (ARF)’s new campaign, #findingforeverhomes.
The campaign has been created because some of ARF’s foster dogs still haven’t found their forever homes – but maybe they’re with you.
ARF foster dog Dinah (feature image) is described as “a big-hearted girl looking for her forever home” who has been waiting for two years. Honestly, look at that face.
Moody – “a handsome fellow with a lot of love to give” – has also been waiting for two years while ZaaZoo a “stunning boy with a zest for life” and Hunter “a big loving goofy boy” have been waiting for over 12 months.
