In 2019, Mexico City is taking its well-deserved place among the world’s must-visit destinations. It’s…
A two-hour hop, skip and a jump down the Hume will land any self-respecting Canberran smack bang in the heart of Kangaroo Valley.
Nestled between the South Coast and Southern Highlands, KV (as it’s known to the locals) is the perfect place to reset, reflect and connect with nature.
And if a little self-care isn’t motivation enough to hit the road, rest easy in the knowledge that you’ll be supporting a plethora of small businesses that have copped a beating from bushfires and global pandemics alike these past 18 months.
With that in mind here’s our guide on where to eat, sleep, drink and shop whilst in town as well as all the fun things to see and do in this glorious little pocket of the world. Just remember, you’re in the country now folks, so take Google’s listed opening days and hours with a grain of salt—best check Insta or call ahead…

Located in the old bank building, make sure you grab yourself a sunny spot on the balcony and lol at the sign that says “Sorry we do not have free wifi. Talk to each other likes it’s 1995”.
