It’s time to unlock a deeper appreciation for this often-overlooked gem on the far South Coast.

Home to the deepest natural harbour in the Southern Hemisphere, with lighthouses, pristine beaches, and gorgeous natural surrounds, it’s well worth driving an extra hour to be amazed by the slice of paradise that is Eden.

Green Cape Lighthouse


Jump in the car and head 45 minutes south of Eden to explore the southernmost lighthouse in New South Wales. Towering above Green Cape Light station Keepers’ cottage (which you can also stay in),  this is the perfect spot to soak up maritime heritage and spot migrating whales. Head along during a tour to explore the inside of the lighthouse and to soak in panoramic views of Disaster Bay. It’s well worth it.

Bundian Way Story Trail

Follow the ancient steps of the Bundian Way along the 1.8 kilometre Story Trail from Cocora Beach to Quarantine Bay in Eden. The Bundian Way is an ancient 365km pathway from Turemulerrer (Twofold Bay) to the mountain ranges of Targangal (Mount Kosciuszko) that Aboriginal people from Yuin, Ngarigo, Jaitmathang, Bidawal Country have walked for thousands of years. It’s a must-do experience for history and nature lovers.
