The highlights of UNVEILED’s Beauty Bar

Bridal beauty is glowing. It is smiley and blushing and teary-eyed.

It is the lipstick that you wear during your first kiss with your husband, the chic flick of liner, the special shade of polish you took so long to select.

UNVEILED The Event‘s Beauty Bar will be a testament to all of this and more—a time for you to explore what bridal beauty looks like to you.

To bring our vision to life, we reached out to makeup artist and head trainer at CMA Training Group, Jacqui Scott and trust us when we say, she has delivered.

Spread over seven metres, Jacqui explains that the Beauty Bar will be split into two sections—one for makeup and one for pampering.

Jacqui is currently working on Fiji Fashion Week on behalf of Harlotte Cosmetics, the very brand she will be using at UNVEILED. We’ve written previously about the HerCanberra team’s love of Harlotte (which is Australian made, cruelty-free and highly pigmented—three things we absolutely love) and UNVEILED will be a great opportunity to get up close and personal with their products.

“I’ll be bringing my Harlotte collection to the makeup bar and we’ll be focussing on two main elements,” says Jacqui.

She explains that when it comes to bridal beauty, there are two things that are timeless—a glowing complexion and lipstick with staying power.

“We’re going to be demonstrating Harlotte’s Ego Highlighter,” explains Jacqui. “Glowing skin has been trending for a long time now and that’s for a reason—people want to have that bridal glow on their big day.”

“The other product we’re going to be focusing on is the Harlotte Liquid Lips. I love these for brides because they have great staying power – they’re kiss proof – you can eat and drink and they don’t budge,” she explains.

For Jacqui, it’s all about creating a look that brides will love – and leave.

“It’s really important that bridal makeup represents longevity,” she explains. “I don’t want my brides to have to feel like it’s a look they have to maintain or think about so using a product like Liquid Lips is really fuss free.”

Jacqui will have a range of her favourite bridal colours there on the day in the Liquid Lips, as well as a range of other products from Harlotte. Trying one of these looks under the practised hands of Jacqui and her six-strong team from CMA Training Group will be free and a fun way to experiment with different bridal looks without committing to a full trial run.

If you fall in love with any of the featured Harlotte products, Jacqui will be taking orders throughout the day and a discount will be available for all UNVEILED guests.

In addition, when capturing the perfect wedding ring shot, having perfectly manicured nails is essential, so CMA will be on-hand to pamper both your hands and nails with complimentary hand and arm massages and mini manicures!

Jacqui will also be running a free workshop on the day which will cover how to translate the latest runway beauty looks into chic, timeless wedding beauty looks.

Both the Beauty Bar and Workshops are free for General Session ticket holders.

UNVEILED The Event on Saturday 3 June will be a combination of stalls where you can meet and interact with potential vendors, workshops where you can learn tips and tricks, food and drink stalls and live entertainment topped off with our unique 4D ‘Wedding Atmospheres’ – installations where you can literally walk inside five themed weddings.

General entry is just $10 per person and can be purchased via Eventbrite or at the door on the day!
