Once upon a time brow trends were all about having super thin wispy brows. The…
One of the best things about working from home is not having to put any makeup on, right? Well, we have two words for you: Video. Conference.
Yep, while the HerCanberra team is comfortable FaceTiming each other sans makeup and with our hair pulled up in a scrunchied topknot, not everyone is that lucky.
Some of us actually have to look corporate from the waist up (even if we’re wearing trackies and Uggs under the desk!).
So we asked one of our fave makeup artists Ali Price to put together a 15-minute look using products from some of Canberra Centre’s top beauty brands that will have you looking fresh and polished for that work teleconference. Quick, easy and beautiful!
How to get it
Start with satin skin, using a foundation that stays put and keeps shine to a minimum. Using a soft powder on the T-zone helps longevity.
Save time by adding colour rather than detail. Use satin and matte finishes to keep products on longer with minimal touch-ups. Focus on clear skin with mid-level colour and warmth, giving a well-rested look.
Logan is wearing a peach lip and cheek to bring out her blue eyes. Bronzer adds warmth and dimension while blush delivers a pop of colour. A touch of lavender on her outer lid picks up on the cooler tones that are coming back in AW20.
Choose a tubular mascara that washes off with water and doesn’t smudge. And when it comes to brows, think well-groomed and natural, rather than drawn-on.
Finish with lips designed to go the distance—choose long stay, mattes, satins or lip stains.
