Small business, big dreams? Designer Op Shop Emporium is looking for new stallholders.

It’s known as one of Canberra’s most stylish (and Insta-worthy) stores, and now Designer Op Shop Emporium (DOSE) is throwing open its doors to new stallholders for the first time in five years.
That’s right—the hub that’s home to small businesses specialising in a wide range of unique collectables (including pre-loved designer fashion, vintage and retro collections, modern interiors, luxury consignment and so much more) is now offering the unique opportunity to join the collaborative group in Fyshwick.
And honestly, who wouldn’t want to launch (or grow) their brand at Canberra’s leading vintage, fashion, and modern décor shopping destination?

After all, as co-owner and curator of a family-run business, Taylor Pitsilos understands the importance of offering locals a chance to nurture their creative businesses all too well.
“Eleven years ago, we were given the opportunity to open a small boutique at a very affordable price. This enabled us to hit the ground running as a ‘Designer Op Shop’ and establish ourselves and build from there. Without this experience, DOS Emporium simply wouldn’t exist,” she says.
“We want to give this low-risk opportunity to like-minded businesses by offering them their own affordable space within DOSE as a platform to begin or grow their creative businesses.”

Managed by a dedicated team of retail business experts and merchandisers with over 30 years’ experience, Taylor says that as a DOSE stallholder, you’ll have the creative freedom to sell your desired items and merchandise how you please—and you’ll have the added freedom and flexibility to sell your products without having to be on location.
“We’d like to expand this rare opportunity at DOSE to people not only selling vintage and modern homewares but also all other small complementary businesses,” she says.
“Perhaps you provide a beauty service and you’re at the stage where you’d benefit from having an affordable space to call your own. Leverage our experience to help you grow your ideas into a reality!”
And of course, Taylor and the team will be on hand to offer guidance if you need it.

But if hospitality is more your cup of tea (or coffee), the boutique, high-end café Emporium Espresso is also available for lease with all amenities and equipment provided—so you can literally walk into your dream job while working closely with the owners of DOSE.
