With numbers strictly limited due to the current health emergency, there’s no time to delay.
Be quick to book your exclusive seat at a Canberra District wine venue where roaring fires and the region’s winter is not only embraced but celebrated.
While food and wine is the focus, you’ll also be entertained through conversations with inspiring locals, trivia, musical experiences and more. Here’s a sample of this year’s events running until 31 August 2020.
- Contentious Character – enjoy fireside trivia and the inaugural fireside spectacular, the Pig and Pinot night.
- Lake George Winery – warm your hands over a burning barrel, tuck into a truffle dinner, and knit yourself something toastie warm. And not all on the same night!
- Gundog Estate – enjoy a number of tasting opportunities with amazing winter wines and Grazing at Gundaroo matched dishes, including Museum Tastings, Shiraz and ragu and Muscat hot chocolate. Yummo.
- Pankhurst – Enjoy a seated wine tasting around the outside open fire with a fiery pizza or cheese platter while enjoying stunning views.
- Sapling Yard – enjoy a night of food and wine at QT Hotel at the launch of their 2019 Curmudgeon Shiraz.
- Monster Kitchen & Bar – wine glass education never tasted so good with sommelier Matt Dunne showcasing Plumm Glassware with two of the region’s favourite winemakers. On another night, dine on a six-course dinner and meet the winemaker.
