This could get messy. Meet the seafood-in-a-bag restaurant where you eat with your hands. Off the table.

Leave your whites at home and get set for some serious bib-and-gloves action at Woden’s newest restaurant, Kickin’ Inn.

Yep, that’s right—we’re talking a saucy bag of Cajun-inspired seafood eaten straight from the table—no cutlery or plates.

Kickin’ Inn Woden is now open. The Australian seafood chain already boasts 10 restaurants across Sydney and Melbourne, and takes over the space formerly housing Hog’s Breath Café.

So, how does this messy eater’s dream work?

Step 1

Choose your seafood—from whole fresh prawns to mussels, pips, bay bugs, mud crabs, lobster and more—or go all in with a Mixed Bag.

Step 2

Pick your sauce—go with the original Kajun, or get into garlic or lemon pepper flavours.

Step 3

Turn up the heat—the spiciness factor ranges from Original to ‘It is Seriously Hot’. ‘Inferno’ comes about mid-way along the scale, so if you’re not a chilli fan, we recommend starting slow!

Step 4

Add any extras that take your fancy—perhaps some chorizo? Corn? Spuds? Rice? Or just a baguette to mop up that sauce with.

Step 5

Dig in with enthusiasm!
