Pssst…did you know there’s a secret message in the tree lights on Lonsdale Street?

Pride Weekend at Enlighten is coming up soon and the tree lights above the hustle and bustle of Lonsdale Street have been programmed to deliver a message of love.
As you walk along the busy Braddon Street you might notice the blinking lights up in the trees along the median strip—and no this isn’t a problem with the light bulbs.
Two local community members sparked the idea and the City Renewal Authority has now programmed the lights to send a message through morse code.
“What’s the message?” you might be asking—well it is very sweet and simple…
I Love You.
The programming will run every night from 10 pm throughout the long weekend.
