Win a car for Christmas at South.Point!

Posted on

Christmas is coming, and South.Point Tuggeranong is pulling out all the stops to make this festive season truly unforgettable.

The headline act? A chance to drive home in a brand-new 2025 GWM Haval Jolion Lux. Yes, you read that right – a whole car with paid stamp duty and registration. This is one present that won’t fit under the tree.

In partnership with National Capital Motors, South.Point is giving one lucky shopper the ultimate Christmas gift. Entry couldn’t be simpler: spend a minimum of $90 at participating stores between now and Wednesday 24 December, present your receipt at the concierge desk, and you’re in the running.

The grand prize will be drawn on Christmas Eve, right in Centre Court at 2 pm. And because the festive generosity doesn’t stop there, a second prize – a ride-on kids’ Lamborghini – will also be up for grabs.

Even if you don’t win, it’s worth popping by Centre Court to see both cars wrapped to look like nostalgic Matchbox cars!

But while the car is undoubtedly the star of the show, it’s far from the only reason to get jolly at South.Point destination this year. The centre has transformed into a festive wonderland, packed with activities, entertainment, and special moments for the whole family.

Shop something unique at the markets

If you’re after something a little different, don’t miss South.Point’s Rooftop Community Market this Sunday 14 December. From 10 am to 2 pm, you can browse stalls filled with handmade crafts, jewellery, candles, homemade treats, and more – all while enjoying the view from the rooftop. It’s free entry, and the perfect spot to find unique, locally made gifts before the Christmas rush really hits.

If you’re in the market mood, you can also get along to South.Point’s Christmas Markets on Friday 19 December inside the Lifestyle Centre (across from the Good Guys) between 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm

Get crafty!

From Thursday 18 December through to Tuesday 24 December, kids can get creative at the Christmas craft station opposite Big W.

The sessions run from 10 am to 1 pm each day, and include cookie decorating, bauble making, and more.

Warm up those vocal cords

Nothing says Christmas quite like live carols, and South.Point has that covered. The Tuggeranong Salvo Brass Ensemble are performing every Saturday up until Christmas, from 10 am to 12 pm.

Carols in Town Park are on Sunday 14 December, with kids’ activities including a colouring competition, face painting and glitter tattoos, and a magician from 5 pm to 6 pm. There will also be a sausage sizzle, fairy floss, drinks, ice cream and coffee and more!  Carols will commence a 6 pm, with appearances from Amber Nicolls and Mandy Williams. Take your picnic rug and settle in for a great night!

Still want more? The Tuggeranong Salvo Acapella Group will be performing on Sunday 21 December (11:30 am to 12:30 pm) and Tuesday 23 December (12 pm to 1 pm) for some stunning vocal harmonies.

Grab a pic with the big guy in red

There’s still plenty of time to capture that obligatory Santa photo. South.Point is offering photography sessions right through to Wednesday 24 December in Centre Court, with options to suit every family.

There are limited Sensitive Santa sessions available, as well as after-hours Pet-Friendly sessions, because is there anything cuter than paws meeting Claus?

Bookings are online only, so get in quick.

Catch Mrs Claus

It’s not just Santa making an appearance – in the final countdown to Christmas, Mrs Claus herself will be wandering the centre from Thursday 18 December to Wednesday 24 December. She’ll be sharing stories, spreading joy, handing out lollies, and making sure everyone’s feeling the festive spirit. Expect to find her roving between 11 am and 2 pm each day.

Get your gifts wrapped for a good cause

Forgot to wrap? No worries. The Kambah Lions Club is running a gift wrapping station in Centre Court right through to Wednesday 24 December, during centre opening hours. A gold coin donation per gift goes straight to supporting the local community – so your presents look gorgeous and do good.

The South.Point Giving Tree

Speaking of doing good, South.Point is partnering with The Salvation Army for a Giving Tree initiative. Shoppers can drop off new, unwrapped gifts or non-perishable items at the tree – you’ll find it in front of Target.

All donations support local families in need this Christmas – a small gesture that makes a genuine difference.

Discover everything that’s on at South.Point this Christmas and start planning your festive visits. After all, ’tis the season to be jolly – and maybe, just maybe, to drive home in style.
