The vibe:

Pilates, psychology, and nervous system care: Deakin’s new wellness destination is blending science and support in one luxurious spot. Combining movement, psychology and recovery services under one roof, this wellness destination is built on the belief that true wellbeing means supporting both the body and the nervous system.

The services:

Part spa, part studio and part psychology clinic, the services at SiSU include expert-led reformer and mat Pilates, 24/7 PODs (Pilates on Demand) and yoga for those seeking a mindful way to move their body.

Meanwhile, the infrared sauna, ice bath and showers for hot/cold contrast therapy, sensory reduction pods, and two next-generation massage chairs are zen-inducing amenities that promote both physical and psychological well-being.

For those seeking support in the mental health space, services include individual therapy, couples counselling and small group programs focused on practical, evidence-based strategies to help people manage anxiety, trauma, stress and life transitions in a supportive, accessible environment. If that’s not enough, SiSU is also preparing to launch SiSU Reset: Canberra’s first dedicated nervous system reset program.

The vibe:

Whether you want a full body dry float at sunrise, or a contactless, fully automated spray tan at midnight, Reverie is a space where you can press pause, return to yourself, and experience wellness your way. And as Australia’s first self-guided, 24/7 wellness space, it’s changing the game.

The services:

Offering premium, private-use suites for therapies that were once only available in luxury clinics or specialist settings, Reverie offers a range of services, including infrared sauna, red light therapy, dry float, contrast therapy, and LED light therapy. There’s even an automated spray tan booth – which promises a private and contactless experience – and the centre will also periodically host leading wellness, health and beauty practitioners to offer their services in a space that supports calm, flexible, client-first care.

Empowering people to take control of their own health and wellness in a way that works for them, unlike other wellness centres, all bookings for Reverie are made through the app, and the centre is accessed via Bluetooth, which means no reception desk, no waiting room, and no pressure to make small talk.
