A Fairy Garden Party is coming to Canberra and it’s what childhood dreams are made of

If your little ones (or ahem, you) have ever dreamed about attending a fairy garden party, you’re in for a fairy big surprise.
On Sunday 30 October the Australian National Botanic Gardens will be transformed into an enchanted fairy wonderland, complete with “real life” fairies, a bubble disco, fairy houses, picnics, lawn games, tea parties and more.
Described as a “nature-based play festival,” the Fairy Garden Party is designed for all ages but recommended for 3-12 years.
The ticketed event is designed around small-scale activities and interactive play, from building a DUPLO fairy castle to creating fairy art.
There’ll even be a space to “glam up” with fairy sparkles or listen to a classic fairytale.
An exciting line-up of food will also be on offer to purchase for a picnic under the eucalypts, as well as fairy themed party bags.
Fairies big and small are encouraged to dress up, so be sure to dust off those wings and get your sparkle on!
