Pialligo Estate has unveiled its brand-new offering for summer, and we can already taste the gin!

Providing the perfect spot for the warmer months, Pialligo Fields will be a multi-purpose space located alongside Pialligo’s garden pavilions.

Encompassing the pavilions, lawns and the meadow, Pialligo Fields will be the perfect summer spot to sit back and relax with drinks, nibbles and games with your friends and family, and will be open for guests on Fridays from 3 pm until late and Sundays from 12 pm until late.

Think outdoor games, open spaces and sunsets. Fields isn’t just for grown-ups either–with the Estate’s expansive grassed areas, little ones will have plenty of space to run around in the safely contained meadow so the grown-ups can unwind.

Pialligo Fields will be serviced by two new bars, which will open in the existing wooden pavilions, giving guests the opportunity to sit indoors or outdoors, making Fields an all-weather space. This is especially handy given the Fields will also be available to book as an event space.

“A flexible space that can accommodate casual drinkers, corporate soirees and intimate weddings, Pialligo Fields turns your party into an event that will blow your guests away,” says Scott Taylor, General Manager at Pialligo Estate.

“It’s perfect for any occasion to be with your nearest and dearest. But you can come after work and unwind here too. You won’t need an event to spend quality time with your friends, family or colleagues at Pialligo Fields, just come along and get in on the fun.”

Scott says the idea stemmed from the desire to create a world-class space within the pavilion area of the Estate that was perfect for the warmer months to enjoy more of what we have to offer.

“We wanted to create something in-line with the same model Pialligo Estate is known for–the sustainable way in which we work and bring the paddock to plate, with the quality you expect. Pialligo Fields is informal but fun, classic and effortlessly on point; with detailed thought behind everything that has a flavour and a reason, and entertainment that will deliver experiences you remember.”

When asked to describe Pialligo Fields, Scott encapsulated it as “your social event experts, superb quality in everything we do, reassuringly geeky”, which summarises the Estate’s passion for delivering fresh ideas for their guests.

With expansive views over the Canberra skyline, the Estate is the perfect place to watch the sun go down, and what better way to do that, says Scott, than with a drink in hand?

The drinks in question have been crafted by the Fields team to embody summer with a modern fusion of 1940s, Cuban-inspired and prohibition-era drinks with a Caribbean vibe, including best-of-the-best gins at the custom Gintonica Bar, as well as a great line up of craft beers.

As for food, expect “the best quality bar food money can buy, such as outstanding charcuterie in a classic share style – perfect for groups.”

Pialligo Fields will be open from Sunday 8 September from 2 pm until late and no bookings are required, although function groups are encouraged to book.
