Two tonnes of cheese, raclette in an igloo and DIY toasted marshmallows? Oui, oui!
Posted on
The Raclette Igloo Experience returns to the Parliamentary Triangle this winter and all we can say is ‘yes cheese!’
Why hibernate this winter when you could spend it in a private igloo, feasting on Raclette cheese, sipping on mulled wine, and enjoying your very own fire pit with marshmallows?

The Raclette Igloo Experience will have 14 igloos–each which can fit 6–8 people and is staffed by a ‘raclette guide’ whose job it is to walk you through how to eat Raclette.
So what actually even is Raclette? It’s a melty oozy cheese named for the French word that means “to scrape” and refers to both the type of cheese and the traditional dish it is served with. It’s served with cured meats, boiled potatoes, pickled onions, and cornichons. And it’s bloody delicious!

Wash it down with a glass of mulled wine, and finish by gathering around a fire pit to roast giant marshmallows.
Tickets are on sale now.
