If you’re considering a career in the beauty industry, there’s never been a more exciting time to make the leap.

Few sectors are growing and evolving as quickly: traditional spas are moving into dermal science and cosmedical services, while more advanced technology is taking treatments to new heights.

With these changes afoot, there is more need than ever for graduates who have a broad understanding of beauty treatments and services—and that’s where ACTI Training comes in.

Based in Braddon, ACTI is a boutique training organisation that specialises in the beauty industry.

ACTI CEO Borka Buseska says there is industry-wide demand for highly-skilled, trained therapists who know how to use the latest technology in a safe and effective manner.

“The ACTI team all work in the industry so understand what employers want and how to help students be the best they can be,” Borka says.

“We have been around since 2018 and we have a bold vision for our students.  It is not just about teaching skills, it’s about linking our students with employers so they can appreciate why they have chosen this industry. To understand where they are going in their career, students need to understand why they are learning.”

During the COVID-19 pandemic, ACTI will be offering more flexible options in training.

“Distance has always been an option but now we are also introducing it to international students too,” Borka says.

“The campus is so large with multiple rooms that it allows social distancing to occur.”

Mid-year enrolments are now open, closing by 15 July 2020.
