Bluey fans have one more adorable thing to collect, with the introduction of three Bluey coins from the Royal Australian Mint.

Hitting the shelves today, the ‘dollarbuck’ coins will feature with Bluey, The Heelers, and The Grannies in glorious colour.

Sold as individual coin cards, these will surely become collectables for some, but how fun will it be to receive a Bluey coin in your change at some point in the future?

The 2024 Bluey Dollarbucks $1 Coloured Three-Coin Collection are sold as individual coin cards and also available as a three-coin set in a bespoke presentation envelope, lovingly designed by Bluey creators Ludo Studio, along with a cute sticker sheet.

Coins can be purchased via an online EQL ballot opens which opens 8.30 am on Wednesday 5 June and closes at 8.30 am on Thursday, 6 June. The draw will take place immediately following the ballot and successful entrants will be notified by email. To register for the ballot, visit the Mint at ramint.gov.au.

You can also purchase them at the temporary Mint Coin Shop (Canberra Museum and Gallery location) from 8.30 am Thursday 6 June 2024, via the Mint Contact Centre on 1300 652 020 from 8.30 am Thursday 6 June 2024 and from participating authorised distributors

“This is the Mint’s classic storytelling and social culture commentary through coins,” says Royal Australian Mint CEO Leigh Gordon.

“We hope that through this new Bluey program we are cultivating the coin collector of tomorrow. What better way to start your child’s or grandchild’s coin collection, than with a Bluey coin?”
