IKEA is launching a festival and it’s coming to Canberra! Swedish food sampling anyone?

Have you ever wanted to get your groove on in the Living Room Seating area of the IKEA showroom? What about embracing your inner zen and meditating in the IKEA mattress studio or sampling some Swedish food?
You have? Ok, well, we admit some of those fantasies are a little…unusual. But this is your lucky day because IKEA Canberra is set to make all of them come true with the announcement of their IKEA Festival.
Running from Friday 26 August until Saturday 10 September, the festival will showcase two weeks of live events, in-store activities, and online content to showcase creativity and inventiveness at home, from around the world.
Built on the theme ‘From Dreaming to Doing’, the festival aims to inspire everyone to release their passions, creativity, and potential of their life at home.
Hosting free live workshops, events, and activities, as well as an in-store dance party and a chance to embrace your inner zen with a guided meditation, you can also look forward to free food sampling using products from the Swedish Food Market, live product customisations and the chance to win prizes!
Can’t make it in-store? Don’t worry. The IKEA Festival will also come alive online to offer you access to the first ever live shopping event on Saturday 3 September, with the chance to browse and buy products from the content of well-loved and recognised Aussie content creators.
