K-Pop fans, it’s our moment (we’re going up, up, up to The Moose)
Posted on
The last time I saw the inside of Mooseheads was probably 1999, but if anything was going to lure me back there, it would be the promise of a K-Pop Pop-Up Party on Friday 6 February.
If your playlist is permanently on shuffle between BTS, BLACKPINK and Stray Kids, this one’s for you. As part of the National Multicultural Festival celebrations, Mooseheads is turning the volume all the way up with a high-energy K-Pop Pop-Up Party – and it’s happening for one night only.
Sound like your jam? Grab your lightstick!
On Thursday 6 February, the iconic Canberra nightclub will transform into a vibrant showcase of Korean pop sound and style, bringing Seoul-level energy straight to the city’s nightlife scene. From slick choreography-ready beats to sing-along anthems you definitely know all the words to, dedicated K-Pop DJs will be spinning crowd favourites designed to keep the dance floor packed from first chorus to final encore.
And because no great party starts without a little extra love from the hosts, the first 150 guests through the doors will score free Moose Juice on arrival. I’m sure some young person will be able to explain exactly what that is, because I certainly cannot.
This pop-up celebration is all about cultural connection – the perfect way to usher in the Multi Culti. K-Pop – global, genre-blending and unapologetically joyful – is the perfect soundtrack for a festival that celebrates diversity. Whether you’re a long-time stan, a casual listener, or just going along for the vibes, it promises to be a fun night out.
Best of all? Entry is free. So grab your friends, practice your finger hearts, and get ready to dance like you’re front row at a music show.
