Pandemic Pilates: Meet the perfect at-home mini workout
Posted on
“Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness” – Joseph Pilates (founder of the Pilates movement).
Have you been following our Workplace Workouts, HerWorkouts and Pandemic Pilates for the past two years? Supporting you to stay active in your comfy lounge room is our goal.
Pandemic Pilates is the focus this month—short, sharp and achievable mini-workouts (only three exercises). Winning.
Have you tried Pilates before?
Pilates is a wonderful form of movement training, providing a combination of strength, stability, alignment, awareness, breath work and mobility. The perfect movement recipe when you’re stuck at home, with minimal equipment, and no instructor.
Of course, you can still go to the studio, but do check their indoor ventilation, social distancing etiquette and COVID-Safe guidelines.
If you’ve just started joining us, I’d recommend checking out the workouts from 2021 which are available here. We have a simple structure for this week’s mini-workout:
Pandemic Pilates: Hip stability and mobility

1) Swiss Ball hip-squat
2) Hip Bridge on Swiss Ball
3) Lunge reverse with rotation.
