The Designer Op Shop Emporium is known as one of the best places to go in Canberra for a spot of vintage shopping—but with the reopening of Emporium Espresso, it’s back to being a hot place to stop for lunch, cakes, coffee, and tea. Open Tuesday to Sunday, shop, sip, and refuel.

Only open Monday to Friday, this hidden gem in Fyshwick serves Pablo and Rusty’s coffee as well as plenty of delicious grab-and-go items. We can’t go past the homemade Matcha with macadamia and white chocolate cookies—but the gourmet toasties look pretty good as well.

Salters Café (Fyshwick)

Ambi’s Chai Bar (Kingston)
