Stop everything. We just found Canberra’s biggest Black Friday sale event of 2024.

It’s that time of year when everyone is feeling a little bit stressed and a little bit broke, especially as the countdown to Christmas kicks off. Enter the ultimate budget-friendly shopping sensation: Black Friday.

And in news that will be music to any savvy shopper’s ears, Canberra Outlet has announced a massive weekend of discounts, free entertainment, and bonus gifts. All we can say is there’s a reason they’re calling it the ‘sale event of the year’.

You better prepare those credit cards.

Kicking off on Friday 29 November and running until Sunday 1 December, across three days the centre will be offering exclusive discounts from all your favourite brands, so you can shop without the stress of going over the Christmas budget. And in exciting news, they’re also extending their hours to suit all shoppers, with sales running on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 November from 9 am until 8 pm and from 10 am until 6 pm on Sunday 1 December.

More time, more savings, what’s not to love?

Think: an additional 30 per cent off storewide at Ralph Lauren, a further 20 per cent off sale items at Seafolly and 50 per cent off storewide at Calvin Klein.

And that’s just the beginning. Fitness fanatics can’t go past Rockwear (which will have 30 to 60 per cent off), Nike (which will have 40 per cent off apparel and footwear), and Puma, which will have up to 70 per cent off.

Have a homewares lover in your life? Head straight to Adairs for 25 per cent off full price storewide and Howards Storage World for 20 per cent off store-wide. And won’t judge if you pick up something for yourself.

But for those looking for more than brand offers, we have some good news: there’s more.

Between 10 am and 1 pm on Friday 29 November, you can catch the 104.7 Radio Roadshow with roaming hosts, and if you spend $150 and sign up as a VIP on Saturday 30 November, you’ll get a free gift to take home.

Across the whole weekend, there will also be free face painting for the kids and free fairy floss to help you refuel between visiting shops. Overwhelmed yet? Because if you haven’t figured it out by now, it’s a massive weekend.
