At HerCanberra, we know how tough it can be to get out there and try something new.
There’s the fear of being judged, the fear of looking silly, the fear of being ‘unco’, the fear of not knowing anyone.
What better way to overcome those fears, than to come together?
In launching HerCanberra ACTIVE, we put the call out to local sports organisations and fitness providers to help us get Canberra women active. We asked them to provide our readers with an opportunity to try an activity for free.
The response has been nothing short of spectacular, and it is with the greatest pleasure that we announce we have more than 60 (yep, 60!) opportunities for you to get active for FREE during ACTIVE Week, which runs from Monday 13 – Sunday 19 November.
From pole dancing, to hockey, yoga, dance, powerlifting and a whole lot more – there are so many activities on offer. Most activities are aimed at beginners, which takes the pressure off worrying if you’ll be ‘any good at it’ – plus, we’re all this in this together to support each other. Let’s move, sweat, laugh and connect, with these incredible FREE activities.
