A self-confessed grammar nerd who has had a few too many heated discussions over the proper pronunciation of the letter ‘H’, Christy decided to direct her passion for words toward a career in communications and freelance writing. Christy writes on a variety of subjects however her passion is women’s mental health, particularly in the perinatal period. She has been an ambassador in the ACT for Mama Tribe and the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE)
Christy loves to write candidly on motherhood, female friendships, and more recently navigating life after separation. She is not afraid to be honest and open about her own experiences and hopes her stories inspire other women to feel empowered and to know they aren’t alone. Christy has had her writing published in the Sunday Canberra Times, nationally across ACM regional papers, on Essential Baby and Essential Kids. Originally from Sydney, Christy is a beach bum at heart and spends much of her spare time on the South Coast in her happy place, Merimbula.
